Description
Description
The Rigby Dagga Boy Knife is a true collector’s piece—crafted for the serious hunter and the discerning outdoorsman. Designed by Zimbabwean-born scrimshaw artist and master knife maker Nkosi Jubane, this knife blends African heritage with premium materials and precision craftsmanship.
At its heart is a 4¼-inch blade made from Austrian N690 stainless steel, renowned for its edge retention and corrosion resistance. The blade is hardened to 58–59 Rockwell, ensuring reliable performance in the toughest field conditions.
The handle is made from African game bone, hand-carved with an intricate image of an old Dagga Boy buffalo—an homage to the legendary beasts of the African bush. Each handle is a unique work of art, showcasing Nkosi’s 34 years of scrimshaw mastery.
The knife comes housed in a vegetable-tanned leather sheath, embossed with the Rigby ‘double R’ logo, offering secure protection and a classic finish.
Whether used in the field or displayed with pride, the Dagga Boy Knife is a functional tribute to Africa’s most iconic game.
